Mr. Asim Chaudhry is a full time Instructor of Computer Science in the Department of
Engineering Sciences at Morehead State University. He is currently serving as the CS
Program Coordinator. His objectives as the program coordinator involve keeping the CS
curriculum up to date, introducing an AI based CS track, and working with faculty of
other disciplines to provide a stronger educational experience across disciplines. His
teaching responsibilities include teaching courses such as Data Mining, Machine
Learning, Game Design and Implementation, Computer Architecture, while actively
mentoring students on various projects, resulting in successful data science projects,
video game prototypes, mobile application development. He serves as the Faculty Lead
for the ACM Student Club, guiding students in professional development.
Mr. Chaudhry completed his bachelor’s in computer science and master’s in
engineering and technology management both from Morehead State University. He is
currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering as a part-time student
at the University of Louisville. Mr. Chaudhry’s dissertation research is focused on
developing time series forecasting models and concept drift detection techniques. His
broader research interests include Machine Learning, Data Science, and Computer
Vision.
