Director - Dr. Michael C. Redmond, SISO

A seasoned information/cybersecurity professional, Michael C. Redmond has proven herself to be an invaluable asset to the industry. With over two decades of experience in the field, she has developed a unique set of skills and knowledge that have made her one of the most sought-after experts in the business.

Her career began as a Business Continuity, Information Security and Risk management consultant and auditor for such firms as KPMG and Deloitte, where she gained expertise in risk management and compliance. She then transitioned to her own company, Redmond International Inc DBA Redmond Worldwide, before returning to various leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. Michael has worked with organizations across multiple industries, including healthcare, finance, and government, and has developed a reputation for her expertise in incident response.

Throughout her career, Michael has been recognized for her contributions to the field of cybersecurity. She has received numerous awards and accolades, including being named on the list of “Women of Distinction by Women of Distinction Magazine for her work in Cyber Security. Michael is on the Cybersecurity Collaboration Leadership Board, CDO Magazine Global Security Board. She is also an accomplished author, having authored several books, “Mastering Business Continuity Management”, “Mastering Your Introduction to Cyber Security”, and “Mastering Work Life Balance”.

Michael is a part time ISO trainer and ISO certification auditor. The education of Michael C. Redmond is a testament to her dedication. In addition to her PhD in the field of Psychology, she has a BA degree from Marymount Manhattan College, with a double major in Management, and Communications Arts and a Minor in Secondary Education, and three MBA’s including an MBA in International Business and Marketing from Fordham University and two MBA’s from PECB University in Risk Management and Information Security. She has a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline. In addition, she has earned multiple certifications, including over 25 ISO Certifications, MBCP from DRI, FBCI from BCI, and CEM from International Association of Emergency Managers.
