Tim Williamson is an Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) graduate who earned a certificate in Computer Forensics in 2011 and an AAS in Network Administration 2012. While working as an IT Systems Manager Tim completed his BS in Systems Management at Western Kentucky University, and MS in Business Informatics at Northern Kentucky University. Tim found he liked teaching others about computers, so he contacted a former instructor at OCTC and began teaching introduction classes as an adjunct. In 2020, he returned as a full-time faculty member to the program where he started 10 years earlier. Today, he is OCTC’s CIT Program Coordinator and teaches the bulk of their information security classes and a combined Computer Forensics course with the Criminal Justice program.
While technology dominates his everyday life and job, when the weather allows, he can often be found in his garage/woodshop at his workbench building a bassinette, bookcase, or album stand for family and friends.
