Dr. Michelle Chappell has recently obtained a Full Professor at Henderson Community College. She teaches courses in the Computer and Information Technologies program housed in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math department. In addition to her faculty role at the college, she is the Program Coordinator for the Computer and Information Technologies program. She has been employed with Kentucky Community and Technology Systems for over 16 years. These years of employment come from the roles at the Owensboro Community & Technical College and Henderson Community College.
Also, she is a Board Member of Henderson Chambers of Commerce, Human Rights Commission, Kentucky United We Learn Council, and the “Transition to Beyond” mentoring program for underrepresented minority students at Henderson County High School. She is well-invested in the Henderson Community through education and the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and workplace belonging. She has received several awards for her achievements listed below:
